SECS Fest 2017 Tickets are on sale

Our first ever, annual international erotic film festival is only three weeks away. Our program has been finalized and tickets are now available through Stranger Tickets.
Our membership program is also live. Seattle Erotic Cinema Society members receive a discount on the price of tickets, $10 vs $12 general admission and SECS members can purchase a full-series pass. So if you would like to see all four feature length films, the three short film programs, and the two archival screenings, you may want to purchase a full series pass. The full-series pass includes entry into all of the SECS screenings at the Grand Illusion Cinema, but also includes admission to the SECS Fest closing film and wrap party.

In addition to dozens to new erotic films from around the world, we are including two archival programs. Vinegar Syndrome is presenting the 1984 Golden Age film Matinee Idol on Friday, September 8th, 9 pm with special guests Dr. David Church and Raymond Rea. Dr. Church is a film historian, specializing in genre cinema and Raymond Rea was the assistant cinematographer on Matinee Idol.

The festival is also thrilled and honored that Stephen Sayadian has granted us permission to exhibit the surreal horror porn, Nightdreams (1981). You’ve never seen anything quite like this.
And don’t forget, like our monthly screenings at the Grand Illusion Cinema, this is an 18+ event.
What I’m personally most excited to share is the collection of short films with themes more common in science fiction than erotica. The Future Sex short film program is made up of films with futuristic settings, imagined future technologies, and in a few cases, dystopian visions. This collection shorts would make a fantastic double feature with Nightdreams. Not only are the shorts incredibly innovative and imaginative, but some of them are also quite surprisingly explicit.

And don’t forget. Our festival hashtag is #secsfest17
