Director Biography – Shine Louise Houston

Shine Louise Houston is a graduate of the San Francisco Arts Institute with a Bachelors in Fine Art Film. Her career has set the new gold standard of queer adult cinema, screening internationally from Amsterdam to New Zealand.

Houston’s work has been seen on NPR, the BBC, HBO, Rolling Stone Magazine, COSMO, The Village Voice, NY Times, and at academic and art institutions such as Princeton, Stanford, American Studies Conference, and the Tate Modern Museum, Leslie-Lohman Museum, among others. Her latest short film BIRTHDAY is a soft core exploration on relationships.
