Director Biography – Daniel Daniel

Daniel is an award-winning writer-director for both film and theatre. His award-winning short films, The Face of Chance (2015) and Web (2018), have screened at festivals internationally. Daniel will be directing the full-length stage adaptation of Sauce.

Director Statement

In the vein of other mumblecore directors such as Joe Swanberg, Andrew Bujalski and Richard Linklater, Sauce captures the authentic and awkward reality of these difficult relationship conversations, woven around a tight narrative structure. Based off a series of improvisations, we hope the film feels real and intimate. Enjoy!
